This course is designed for those working in and around spaces OSHA would classify as confined space. The instructor will cover OSHA's Confined Space Standards and discuss the multiple hazards often found in confined spaces. You will learn the difference between Non-Permitted Confined Spaces and Permitted Confined Spaces. The course will cover safe work practices including the use of atmospheric monitoring, permitting procedures, confined space attendant requirements, and establishing response for emergency situations.
This course is suited for both workers going into the spaces (ENTRANTS) and those who may act as outside monitors (ATTENDANTS). Participants will be required to pass a written exam at the end of class.
